Meeting Room Closures

Dear First Presbyterian Church Members and Friends,

Temporary Room Closures.

As we continue to make progress on improving our campus facilities, we have reached a significant phase in our construction timeline.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, all meeting rooms on the first and second floors have been closed until further notice. You will find a notice posted on each affected door as a physical reminder of which rooms will be closed during construction. Affected rooms include the Women's Bible Study Room and the Archives Room. These spaces are expected to remain unavailable through the end of 2025.

The rooms closed during construction include:

  • All Pastor and staff offices (excluding those in the Smith Building) will be relocated to the 3rd floor

  • 1st Floor Meeting & Work Rooms: 150, 154, 155, 176, Archives Room, and Women’s Bible Study Room

  • 2nd Floor Meeting Rooms: 222, 223, 227, 230, the Music Library (216), and the Bell Choir Room (224)

While we understand this temporary closure will cause inconvenience, these measures are necessary to facilitate exciting renovations and improvements to our beloved campus. The work being done now will benefit our congregation and community for generations to come.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we work together through this season of growth and renewal at First Presbyterian. The temporary sacrifices we make now will lead to enhanced spaces for worship, fellowship, and ministry.
